Can I go to a Walk-In-Clinic for an acne prescription?

I would go to my family doctor but it takes months to get an appointment and even if she can fit me in it's almost 2 hours waiting and her office is a couple hours away.

So anyways... will they suggest and prescribe me something?

Also, if you are going to recommend a dermatologist I was curious if they were free or not...Can I go to a Walk-In-Clinic for an acne prescription?
Dermatologists are definitely not free.

If your acne is really serious and causing pain or infection, a walk-in clinic might be okay to get something to help short term. But they can't go in depth on it and give you anything more than a tube of antibacterial stuff. Even family doctors can't do a whole lot for you as it's not part of their specialty. Can I go to a Walk-In-Clinic for an acne prescription?
You may not need to see a doctor. There are lots of new creams out there that have Retinal A in it. That is what is in most prescriptions. Go to a makeup department at a store and ask them. Or check with a pharmacist. They can make recommendations and they don't charge to give that advice.
