Medications I can try for my acne? (prescription or otc?)?

I've tried many over the counter things and proactive and nothing seems to really help my acne. I had an antibiotic for a little bit and that helped but I want to stay away from those so they don't screw up my birth control. I don't get it like, all over my face constantly, but I get large zits on certain areas of my face and they take forever to go away. Any suggestions?Medications I can try for my acne? I wash my face every night with noxzema and a warm wash cloth and my skin is kissable smooth with no pimples.....
