yea it worked wonders, there are side effects but i personally didnt have any other than dry skin. However there is a higher thenandy of suicide, and under no circumstances can you fall pregent while on it. However if you go to a dermatoligist they can tell you of all the side effects and if you do chose to go on it, then they will moniter you and help you should somthing goes wrong

Anyone on it knows that you have to sign an agreement that you will not get pregnant while on this medication, that this medication is controlled by the government and to get on it you must be listed on their computer system. Also you are given a plastic card {like a credit card but not one}


To get your medication at the pharmacy you must have that card with you, otherwise it is against the law for you to pick up your Rx. You also must have it when


you go and get your Rx refilled.


The thing about this medication is it will cause sever birth defects to a fetus,baby that is really awful. As long as you can have babies, conceive, you will be monitored with blood tests and urine tests


throughout your time on this medication. First to make sure you are not pregnant.


Hallucinations, change in personality, suicidal thoughts are just a few side effects.


I was on this medication, the cost with and without insurance is high. I got off it 3 months after I started it and went to another Rx called Finacea which works just as well with no side effects. It is for those with problem skin and also those with reddening


of the skin, which I do not have. I am better off since I got off Accutane skin wise.
How odd that your question should come up! A ';mini-special'; was on our news at 12 noon, channel 8, here in Dallas/ Metroplex Texas today, August 2nd.
