My acne prescriptions have been expired for over a year, would they still be alright to use?

I have Tazorac cream, Erythromycin topical gel, and Erythromycin %26amp; Peroxide Topical Gel. I've kept them all stored properly, including keeping the Erythromycin %26amp; Peroxide Topical Gel refrigerated.

What harm would come from continuing the use of them?My acne prescriptions have been expired for over a year, would they still be alright to use?
Using the expired medicine will not harm you. However, the medicine may not be as effective. Typically, when medicines expire, they get weaker.

Hope this helps. Good Luck. My acne prescriptions have been expired for over a year, would they still be alright to use?
Don't use medications that are past the expiration date. At best, they will simply be useless as the active ingredients have degraded. But some antibiotics can produce toxic substances as they break down, and creams/gels can grow bacteria (even if they are refrigerated). Throw them out and see your doctor for new ones.
