Acne medication prescription?

recently i went to my doctor because i had this major acne outbreak, my doctor prescribed me 2 of these creams called tretinoin cream and Clindamycin phostphate gel with these pills called doxyclcline 100mg capsules. i was wonder what each of these do and if anyone had any experiences with them and how long they take to develope result.Acne medication prescription?
the clidamycin and doxycycline are antibiotics. tretinoin is generic for retin-a, and increases the rate of cellular turnover. the clindamycin and doxycycline should start clearing you up in about a week. the retin-a takes 6 weeks for maximum results, and sometimes during the first 3 weeks or so it makes the worse than better. stick with it though, it's a great product. it is helpful against wrinkles as well as acne. good luck.Acne medication prescription?
The doxycycline is an oral antibiotic used to treat acne which is caused by the staph bacteria and the clindamycin gel is an antibiotic ointment to attack the staph bacteria from the outside, Not familiar with the tretinoin cream though.
I used the creams you mention and it helped a little but not much. Depends on how severe your acne is.





I have been suffering with acne since I was a kid. Here are a few things that seem to work for me:





- Take flaxseed oil capsules (1000 mg), one in the morning, and one at night, preferably after a meal. Take a multi-vitamin once daily as well. After about a month or so, my skin started glowing, and people could see the change.

Hi sorry about the ACNE. I had really bad cystic acne a couple of years ago. Non of the cream and pills worked for me. Hopefully this is not the case for you. If you discover you need some other approach I would suggest the all natural ones. There are no side effects and the cost is CHEAP.

ive used the doxycicline %26amp; it works in about a few weeks. %26amp; ive used differin %26amp; it works good as well. i would reccomend that you use cetaphil in the shower on your face bc it keeps your skin soft %26amp; doesnt dry it out. =]
